Halloween 2013

Two weeks ago a friend called and asked if she could take the kids to the pumpkin patch and carve pumpkins with them.  I said sure.  The kids had a lot of fun, of course they love spending time with Crystal and her nieces and nephews.

On Oct 29th (Our Anniversary) we had the ward trunk or treat, sorry pictures did not turn out.  The kids had fun dressing up and going and playing games, riding horses, and getting candy.  It was cold and I had not had the kids dress warmer as I wasn't thinking.

Halloween night I had them dress warmer.  It was not as cold as it had been two days before and we did two whole streets in our neighborhood and everyone told us we had to go to the Bishop's house so we loaded the kids up and drove over to the Bishops and hit a few homes around his that don't get many visitors.  We were back in just over an hour which is alright as it was a school night.  They each got to eat two pieces of candy and they were all asleep by 8:30.  I had turned out the lights at 8:15 when we had not had trick or treaters for about 10 min and I only had a few pieces of candy left to hand out.

It was a good night over all.  My girls loved being princesses and Dillon loved being a pirate.
I hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween!

Halloween 2011

OK, I found our camera, but I am noticing that some of the pictures are not the greatest.  I think it is time to start looking at a new camera.

Some of these pictures are from during the month while they were deciding what they wanted to go as.  But when they saw mommy as a princess they wanted to be princesses too.  Some are from our church chili cook-off on Saturday were they were given candy as well.

Enjoy!

Halloween 2010

We went trick or treating with my sisters Jaclyn, Wendy and Alysha and their kids (well most of them). Jennilyn was a fairy, but most people thought she was little red ridding hood becuase of her red coat. Dillon was Musue from Mulain and the twins were faires. Our trick or Treating got cut short because of the down pour of rain we got, and I mean down pour. My shirt and pants were soaked through! But we had fun and we look forward to it again next year!

Well we had a good Halloween. We took the kids to the mall and just walked around the first floor as the kids are still little we didn't see the point in doing both floors, but also we found out as we were getting ready to go to the mall that they were only doing the trick or treat until 7pm and it was almost 630pm before we got there as the kids took later then usuall naps.
This week Dillon became very interested in pirates as my mother-in-law was busy making two pirates costumes for two of her daughters. So on Thursday morning my mother-in-law got up and in 1 1/2 hrs made the pirates costume he wore to a play group on thursday and then trick-or-treating on Friday.
After we got done at the mall we went to Dan's sisters' house to trick or treat there and visit. Some of the pictures are of the kids with their aunts and their roommate Katie.

The kids had fun walking around the mall and holding our their buckets to get candy. So far I have hidden the candy and they haven't been begging for it.

Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween.
